In 1962, the world was buzzing with significant cultural and historical events. The Cuban Missile Crisis, a tense confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union, had the entire globe on edge as the threat of nuclear war loomed large. On July 3, 1962, Algeria declared its independence from France after an eight-year war for independence. Meanwhile, the iconic musician Bob Dylan released his debut album, "Bob Dylan," which would go on to have a lasting impact on the music industry and inspire countless artists.
In the realm of space exploration, the United States made history with the successful launch of the Telstar 1 satellite, which enabled live transatlantic television broadcasts for the first time. This groundbreaking achievement revolutionized global communication and marked a pivotal moment in the ongoing space race between the U.S. and the Soviet Union.
And “Sexarama” released in hot nights 1962, "Sexarama" captured the hearts and minds of music enthusiasts with its playful and lively novelty tracks.
Miss Dee was another one great artist from the legendary "My Pussy Belongs To Daddy" compilation album. Now, with the expertise of Grammy-nominated mastering engineir Jessica Thompson, this timeless classic is set to receive a new lease on life, allowing fans to experience the album in a whole new light. You never listened the album in quality better than now. Jessica's careful and meticulous approach ensures that the album's original charm and character are preserved, and push its sonic quality to meet the standards of modern audiophiles.

Electric cars are everywhere and Elon Musk almost on the Mars. Bob Dylan is still active... and “Sexarama” receive a long awaited reissue.
Historical reference:

Baby Dee was born Delores Spriggs on August 1, 1927, in Washington, DC. She grew up in a family of entertainers - her mother Ernestine Boggerson Spriggs was a performer and her father Daniel Spriggs was a comedian. Baby Dee attended Randall Junior High in Southwest D.C., which is one of the schools that a number of artists featured in our exhibit attended.
Baby Dee lived in the New York City area in the late 1940s, performing at venues such as the Ebony Club in Brooklyn and the Savannah Club in Manhattan. As a performer, she was known for her sensual, dramatic delivery which even included shedding tears. In 1946, she recorded in New York for De Lux and Apollo with the Bill Campbell Orchestra. The following year, she had a recording session in New York for the Chicago-based Sonora Records, which produced the singles: "Like He Never Lived Before"; "It Feels So Doggone Good"; and "If You Gotta Go" with "There Goes the Last Man I'll Ever Lose."
Baby Dee also had performing engagements in her hometown of DC at the Cotton Club on Benning Road in N.E.; the KoKo Club on H St., N.E, and Casbah on U St. NW. Around 1954, M-G-M Records billed her as both Baby Dee and Delores 'Baby Dee' Spriggs. And she went on to record for Zebra Records in New York with songs by Bill Campbell during 1958.
